Comment mode returns your original source with added notes. It does not rename identifiers, collapse branches, or “clean up” style. If you need a refactor, that is a different task.
Styles: Brief (one-line headers), Standard (short contracts), Teaching (longer onboarding notes). Language selection controls comment syntax: `//`, `#`, or block comments as appropriate.
Delete narration after you copy. Keep constraints, failure modes, and surprises. See the blog post on commenting without narrating every line.
